Western Iowa’s first lightning storm of the year. I chased it from nearby Lacona to this coop on farm I had previous gained permission to take photos of. Lightning crashed all around as I shielded the camera with my rain jacket while getting wet myself. It eventually poured so hard that traffic actually stopped on the high way to Des Moines.
My kind of night.
