Late, just before the St Peter’s Square is closed, I placed my camera on the floor to capture this dramatic angle of the square. With warning a cacophony of wings and chirping erupted behind me from before the square. Having seen this once already I adjusted my camera to higher iso and faster speed to capture the birds flying over the square. Its a magical moment when it seems as if the sky is capped above you where it was previously endless.
