The Journey | Kahala, Hawaii
A couple approached me and told me about how they had spread their mother’s ashes from the point in this photograph. They asked me to create very special image for them. I feel that there is journey after you pass. If not, what is the purpose? I knew that I wanted to make this image about the journey. When I arrived and saw the outrigger canoes, I knew I needed them in my composition. I moved them and waited for the light. Thats what I do.
Canon 5DII f16 4 images digitally blended.
