Chasing Light | Canon Beach, Oregon
If Valentines day is about love, then I spent Valentines with my camera, because I love photography. Several of the images from the long weekend can be found on my Facebook, but this image? This defines relationship.
Process: captured 10 minutes after sunset. Canon 5D Mark 224 mm to exposures. One for the sunset, and another for the rock tors. Edited in camera roll and then Photoshop. As with all my images, I overexpose them by 1 to 2 stops. This compensation allows me to create zero noise in the shadows when I pull the exposure down and I adjust contrast. Anything else, just ask.
About the prints: I print on premium lumachrome paper that is unparalleled in depth and luminosity. All pieces come face mounted to acrylic and ready to hang using french cleats. I also offer Tabacchino and other handmade framing options. All my pieces are editions of 50. For inquiries regarding prints contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
