The thing about taking an image and creating a black and white from it is that it can go in many directions. Black and White is flexible and cruel medium. Flexible because of the latitude it gives you. Cruel because if it’s not perfect, you hate it.
With some inspiration from Lina, I took Concordia to a new level in Symphony. I wanted silver silk and an image your eyes could explore as a whole and in minutia.

Symphony is a lot brighter than my other black and white images. I’m traditionally drawn to a dark image with a bright subject to focus on, however, I wanted to give you the option of an image that would expand your room further with more white space.
